Seti River Rafting
A wilderness experience ideal for those seeking an introduction to rafting or kayaking. The Seti is one of Nepal’s most beautiful and warmest (!) rivers with spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and rapids increasing in excitement as your confidence grows. The Chitwan National Park safari is only one and half hours drive from the “take-out” point.The river trip begins down a remarkable forested canyon which brings rafters immediately chose to Mother Nature. The surrounding greenery induces a warm feeling on one of Nepal‘s warmest rafting rivers. The jungle brings its own reward with wildlife sightings right along the river. There is much scope for exploration, photography and bird watchingfor which there is plenty of time on this short run. One also has the opportunity to swim or just relax on the sandy beach. On the second day, Class III rapids need to be tackled but thereafter, it is an easy float until the end of the trip at Gai Ghat. From here one may continue on to Chitwan for a safari or drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 1: Drive to Damauli, and short rafting trip/ camping at Corridor of jungle near the riverbank
Day 2: Corridor of jungle nears the riverbank to Gaighat; rafting till 3PM (approx.) and drive back to Kathmandu or visit Chitwan National Park or drive to Pokhara or Narayani Riverside Resort.
